The mission of the position General Manager Information Technology to serve as the strategic partner for driving digital technology initiatives across organization. The position is a key leadership role which will lead the development and implementation of digital excellence initiatives, aligning them with the organizational strategic goals and business objectives. Strategy & Planning: - Develop an IT strategy which identifies the future direction of the use of technology within the organization to drive efficiencies in alignment with business goals. - Identify IT solutions and opportunities areas across departments to improve organizational performance. - Drive the development and implementation of strategic IT initiatives. Evaluate business requirements, prepare and present proposals, design and deliver solutions to meet business objectives. Business Operations: - As a part of Director Office team, support the implementation of business development and expansion strategies to deliver the year business plan of the organization. - Works with other employees at Director Office and participates in the strategy making, business planning &amp; development, business reporting and analysis activities. Development and monitoring of key quality indicators, key performance indicators of the organization. Research &amp; Development: - Gather and analyses business/process data to obtain information useful for key operations decision making. Provide insights on critical business data points for driving organization performance. - Participate in research activities in pursuit of new solutions and to evaluate the applicability and usefulness of current solutions. IT Operations: - Managing and coordinating information technology operations with internal &amp; external team to ensure delivery of timely and effective IT services. - Assists with the research of internal and external best practices and with recommendations for process improvements and implementation of process and systems as per the need of organization. - Create and develop structured methodology and lead change management activities. Prepare and implement project plans to achieve the desired outcomes. Budgeting &amp; Vendor Management: - Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets for IT department. Works within departmental budget to develop &amp; execute cost effective IT plans. - Procure, negotiate, manage and monitor services provided by third parties ensuring effective service delivery. - Manage the relationships with contractors and suppliers - Collaborate with Vendors and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards. People &amp; Performance Management: - Develop, track, analyses and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess technological performance and the reporting of results. - Consistent review, training and performance management of team members of Department. - Ensure HR compliances and working as per HR policy of organization - Data Management &amp; Security: - Secure and manage data &amp; records in accordance with Company rules and regulations. - Ensure protection of IT assets &amp; accessories in compliance with IT Act, Data Protection, etc.
