Key Responsibilities:
- Own end to end category strategy of holiday business.
- Complete P&L ownership of holiday marketplace business.
- Drive growth & profitability of category, evaluate various business models & accordingly design holiday supply & demand side strategies.
- Create and implement customer experience strategies (both traveler & vendor side)
- Create a leadership position in the holiday market
- Develop proper planning & execution engine
- Understand the holiday market and traveler landscape and imbibe deeper understanding of trends in the outbound travel space that can shape/define the future of the (Domestic/International) portfolio.
- Developing deep domestic/international traveler understanding and trends and accordingly leading the evolution/innovation of travel product.
- Drive destination strategy and its execution. Craft a unified strategy across destinations that helps achieves company goals in short and long term.
- Own the Category Management metrics for each destination and craft improvement plans to impact key metrics for each quarter.
- Develop team to evaluate & launch new innovative categories in domestic/international category- religious, wildlife, adventure etc.
- Focus on team grooming and successfully managing 100+ members. Create next generation leaders who can take ahead the holiday business as it grows 10x-20x.
Desired Skills:
- Earlier P&L handling experience.
- Strong Problem Solving.
- Proven execution capability.
- Team Management Experience.
- Preferable if some experience in sales, operations or vendor management.
