Domain Specialist - IT - Refining & Marketing Business

We are looking for a Smart and Business Domain Specialist for R&M Business who should be able to work independently and manage key Business Process Integration across various Business functions and IT solutions, with little or no supervision. He / She should be a highly resourceful team-player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient. The individual should have a fair knowledge for Refining and Marketing business Process, functions, business drivers/ KPIs and IT solutions. The individual should have the ability to exercise good judgement and business practices in a variety of technical and solution situations while being responsive to multiple priorities from the Business. The role requires Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with functional and technical knowledge.

Job Accountabilities

- Have good understanding of the Refining and Marketing business processes, functions, business drivers/ KPIs and IT solutions.

- Ensure business continuity and high availability of business applications as per SLA

- Provide level 2 support to the business applications as per SLA

- Investigate problem trends, identify root cause of problems, and suggest possible solutions, escalate to development team where needed.

- Ensure on time delivery of business data requirements

Competencies

Understanding Business capabilities, Business Processes and Technology Landscape

In depth Understanding of SDLC and technology trends

Hands on experience on Microsoft Technologies like C#, VB.net, ASP.net,WCF, MVC and Java Script and .Net frame work 4.0 and above

Understanding and experience of working on Microsoft SQL server databases

Ability to write the custom queries and stored procedures in DB to retrieve data as per business requirement

Ability to interact with Business stakeholders

Presentation and documentation skills

Understanding of SDLC and technology trends
