Domain Consultant - Public Security/Law Enforcement - IT

Job Description:

- The subject matter expert (SME) in public security in police, law enforcement, safety & security and Judicial technology transformation. Drive the technical expertise gathering, sharing and industrialization of content globally for our public security segment within Public Sector (PS) leadership, enabling teams in multiple geographies to benefit from the technical sector-specific knowledge.

- He/She will work closely with the public security segment leaders and technology architects globally as single point of contact (SPOC) in developing and successfully deploying public security focused offers globally. This will include managing strategic projects efficiently and on time in a global and matrix-managed environment.

- The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong networking, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, good quality control and attention to detail, and a track record of public security projects. Experience of the public sector is key. The successful candidate is the technical sparring partner to the GBL Community within Public Sector.

- Designing public safety and police ICT modernization solutions. - Work with teams at existing and potential customers to deeply understand their business and technical needs. Develop solutions that make the best use of the Cloud platform and application services. Collaborate with field sales, training, and support teams to ensure customer success.

- Very good/excellent understanding of the Public Safety Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Architect for solutions in Public Safety, Emergency operations with experience in EU, USA or Asia

- Experience in designing and developing Public Safety and Disaster recovery (PSDR) Data Analytics and sharing of mission critical information (e.g., preparation, response, and recovery).

- Experience in developing Emergency Management Operations and Recovery Command Centre, CCTV Surveillance and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD)

- Working experience in developing 911 and Emergency Communications real time information about people, infrastructure, and the incident environment. Next Generation 911 (NG911).

- Digital Policing Smart Territories, Police Intelligence Exhibiting thought leadership. Share best practices through forums such as blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public speaking events.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 8 - 15 years of experience in the design and implementation of complex IT systems in the public safety segment

- Experience working with customers and stakeholders and driving conversation towards innovative public safety solutions

- Experience in CAD systems Computer Aided Dispatch (Computer from one or more of the software providers such as Motorola Solutions, Avtec, Nuance Communication, Verint Systems, etc

- Worked on public safety software such as IntelliChoice eFORCE, PTS Solutions, IOC (Intelligent Operation Centre),i2, TRINITY, Public Safety Software etc

- Exposure to Law Enforcement software not limited to Palantir Technologies, IBM, NICE etc

- Working experience in Command Center, Disaster Management and Operations center software

- Build technical solutions that are secure, scalable, reliable, performant, well-documented, and cost-effective, escalating risks with supporting data.

- Working knowledge of modern software development practices and technologies adopted in the public safety domain

- Primarily responsible for designing the safety and security solutions across multiple geos and you should have a complete knowledge of the law enforcement policies and practices of people and public property.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

- An advanced degree in computer science, MIS, engineering or related discipline

- Has the understanding of technical solution used for Patrolling and ensuring the safety of the people as well as property

- Has expertise in public safety solution design, implementing CAD response system to calls and dispatching support in a timely manner, Inspecting and reporting suspicious events and incidents

- Basic experience with federal law enforcement and security required; experience with the federal law enforcement agency and Judicial Security Division-related projects preferred

- Has provided consultation on the development and enhancement of the existing federal law enforcement agency programs

- Has assisted in performing risk assessment of federal law missions, units, and personnel

- Experience interfacing directly with customers to understand requirements and render those as architectural models that will operate at large scale and high performance, and advise customers on how to run these architectural models on Cloud environments

- Desire and ability to interact with different levels of the organization from development to C-Level executives

- Apply subject expertise in evaluating business operations and processes.

- Recommend technical solutions and determine software development requirements.

- Has expertise in the review, analysis, development, and implementation of any one or more of the Counterintelligence (CI), Counterterrorism (CT), Law Enforcement (LE) and related national security matters

- Implements public security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.

- Deep understanding of public security processes, data, application, server, and network security

- Experience with Statistics, Machine Learning and Predictive Modelling

- Demonstrated skills and expertise in designing cyber security solutions to aide police

- Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.

- Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.

- Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
