Associate Position - Job Description

- We are a leading full service Investment Bank with Institutional brokerage and Investment banking practice focused on high growth mid-market transaction universe. We have specialized focus on IT Services, BPM and Enterprise SaaS areas.

Job Description :

- The opening is at an Investment Banking Associate level will provide analytical support on private equity and mergers and acquisitions.

- Mid-market focus and small deal team size give Associate the opportunity to work with senior bankers and key management from client companies on a regular basis.

- Throughout their tenure, Associate will receive support from all levels of the firm. Ongoing training comes from mentors and from senior bankers on deal teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Developing company valuations and making financial models to value equity for private equity fund raise and mergers & acquisitions transactions

- Developing transaction marketing materials including investment memorandum, roadshow presentations and pitch books

- Conducting industry and company research and analysis

- Acting as a point of contact throughout the transaction process

- Attending client meetings

- Perform due diligence, research, analysis and documentation of live transactions

- Developing varied industry and transaction expertise, and staying current on industry developments

- Developing an understanding of the underlying trends that led to corporate transactions

- Gaining an understanding of the interests and investment criteria of a number of private equity firms

Requirements/qualifications :

- MBA/CFA/CA or equivalent education, training and work-related experience

- Engineering degree with specialization in IT/Software is desirable

- Around one year experience- in a similar role in an investment bank or private equity firm

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision

- Working knowledge of deal structuring and closing principals

- Strong communication and networking skills

- Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events.

- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft PPT and Microsoft- Excel
