REPORTING TO : HOD-MATERIALS

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : Graduate Engineer with PGDM in Material Management or MBA from reputed Universities.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE : Minimum of 20 years in the relevant field

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE : Lead the strategic procurement functions, developing and implementing strategies that aligns with business plan and organization's goals, ensures bottom-line savings curtailing the procurement costs by standardizing process, negotiations, streamlining of supply channels, Planning, Coordination, execution and maintenance of time lines of Capex projects and Opex Operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Must Exhibit prowess in developing procedures, service standards and operational policies, SOPs.

- Must be Adept at negotiations for securing the best price on purchase using cognitive skills, assessment over the dynamic market conditions and implementing strategies that drive revenue, growth, and profits for the company.

- Expertise in managing, motivating and coordinating activities of sizable team.

- Must have Effective communication skills.

- Must have Good Knowledge on Market Intelligence, MIS, SAP MM

- Must be an Enterprising leader with proven dexterity in leading and directing personnel towards accomplishment of a common goal on functionals including but not limited to Uninterrupted Material Supply, Optimum Inventory maintenance etc.

SKILL SET REQUIRED :

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS :

- Knowledge of packaging materials in FMCG/Dairy

- Knowledge of suppliers and Vendor Management.

- Knowledge of materials used in the dairy industry/FMCG.

- Previous experience in food packaging or just packaging

- Good Inventory Management Skills

TECHNICAL SKILLS :

Expert in MS office. SAP MM BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :
