Role : Category Head - Ice Cream Sales

Designation : Assistant General Manager

Department : Sales & Marketing

Work Location : Corporate Office, Hyderabad

Reporting to : HOD Sales & Marketing

Qualification : Graduate / MBA (Sales & Marketing)

Experience : Minimum 15 years with Proven work experience as a national

sales manager. Traditional Channel, working experiences with distributors is an advantage.

Objective of the Role : Category Head - Ice Cream is the strategic role which responsible for leading total traditional sales team to execute ambitious goals of Ice Cream and contribute to the growth strategy of Customer Development.

Main Accountabilities

- Build up sales strategy & execute plan for the channel, in parallel with defining key strategies to each of the sale areas.

- Build up strong distributing system (distributor infrastructure & capability) for sustainable development (profit, share, customer loyalty & satisfaction).

- Develop and RTM Model for market services as per channel dynamics

- Develop sales team to keep the leading position in the market of Dodla Dairy

- Build up and execute Dodla Dairy's organization and Distributor structure to adapt with fast-moving change of the market.

- Build up high future-fit sales team for distributive trade that fits with Dodla Dairy.

- In charge of building up Long-term strategy plan as well as understanding customer/shopper insights of distributive trade

- Asset Management and controls in marketplace

- Leading in pioneering new distributive models and bring plan into life.

- Representative for related expertise matters.

- Join hand to consult in distributor choose & liquidation.

- Other adhoc tasks being requested by Sales HOD

Essential Skill/Knowledge:

- Strong Negotiation skills

- People and Stakeholder Management

- Foundational selling and relationship management skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong experience in category growth management, commercial strategy, design for channel, execution excellence, data literacy, and business financial acumen.

- Excellent organizational skills, passionate to win, strong sense of teamwork,

- Frequent domestic business trip

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
