Funding :

April 2016: $1.2 million was raised as seed funding in April 2016 from Facebook's angel investors Anand Rajaraman and Venky Harinarayan, along with Japanese Venture Capital firm Rebright Partners.

Dec 2017: DocsApp raised $7.2 million during Series A round of funding from Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), Japanese investors Techmatrix Corporation and DeNa networks. Existing angel investors Anand Rajaraman, Venky Harinarayanan, and Japanese VC Rebright partners also participated in this round.

The ideal candidate would have strong analytical, technical and project management capabilities to convert client requirements into product deliverables. The profile is also expected to assist the technical teams with proper documentation, by bringing in a discipline in a small technical team meeting the requirements of various B2B clients.

Responsibilities:

- Requirements gathering and documenting Requirements specifications (RS) based on client inputs

- Converting RS to PRDs for Engineering team to understand

- Project planning in terms of Effort and Cost estimations

- Project Management to ensure on-time delivery to clients

- Ensure best practices

- Assist technical team with understanding of product requirements, assistance in documentation and feature roadmap planning

- Assist design and engineering teams to develop innovative and breakthrough solutions with a strong focus on cost, quality and performance.

- Assist in planning & delivery of products and services which meet specified performance and cost criteria within the development budget and timelines.

- Coordinate with clients for understanding technical and business requirements

Requirements :

- Engineering Graduate with minimum 4 years overall experience in the IT sector

- 1 to 2 years of experience in project management

- Strong software engineering background and the ability to discuss technical issues and identify solutions that meet Client requirements

- Understanding any of the programming languages and Relational Databases

- Experience in participating/leading dynamic brainstorming sessions.

Leadership skills :

- Excellent written, verbal and Presentation skills.

- Knowledge of the insurance industry is an added advantage but not mandatory
