Funding : 

April 2016: $1.2 million was raised as seed funding in April 2016 from Facebook's angel investors Anand Rajaraman and Venky Harinarayan, along with Japanese Venture Capital firm Rebright Partners.

Dec 2017: DocsApp raised $7.2 million during Series A round of funding from Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), Japanese investors Techmatrix Corporation and DeNa networks. Existing angel investors Anand Rajaraman, Venky Harinarayanan, and Japanese VC Rebright partners also participated in this round.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Participates in developing and executing strategies to investigate, consider, and implement partnership models with insurance companies to drive growth in new and existing business for DocsApp

- Develops and maintains an active pipeline of viable partnership opportunities and works closely with Head of Partnerships to screen and evaluate such possibilities

- Works closely with potential strategic joint venture partners in developing business plan components, including business model, financial projections, operational resources

- Effectively communicates DocsApp's mission, focus, and lines of business to potential business partners on PAN India basis

- Oversees and collaborates with the transaction team to ensure a thorough due diligence process,strong partner/target relationship management, and timely negotiation and execution of definitive documents

Key Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in B2B Insurance Sales (should have worked in the head office of Insurance Companies) or related field. Experience in Insurance companies (preferred) or Insurance vertical in Healthcare industry

- Demonstrated entrepreneurial openness and ability to explore new possibilities and to approach issues differently

- Demonstrated experience in planning and managing at strategic and operational levels

- Excellent communication skills including ability to persuasively deliver presentations to CXO- s

- Ability to build strong relationships across cross-functional teams

- Ability to maximize resources to accomplish key metrics

- Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and teammates to create a results-driven,

- Team oriented environment

- Travel required: more than 50%
