Job summary:

Oversee all the aspects of accounting and financial closing, such as- book-keeping, maintaining accounts, auditing, and reporting to ensure seamlessness and excellence in operations and increased efficiency in financial management. Responsible for providing senior management at company level ("Company") with the financial analysis and information they need to make major operational, financial, and strategic decisions. Will be involved in running the annual budgeting process and producing regular forecasts that show the expected future performance of the business; Will be involved in evaluating financial and investment information, investor management and investor reporting.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Financial closing and auditing:

Drive efficient book-keeping:

a. Introduction and implementation of processes upon agreement by Management to standardize accounting and reporting.

b. Oversee the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting system.

c. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

d. Ensure appropriate accounting of all branches to report and provide branch-wise analysis of Profit & Loss.

e. Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations.

f. Lead closing of the account's books on monthly, quarterly, annual basis.

Facilitate, supervise, and close audits:

a. Drive successful carrying out and closure of quarterly statutory and monthly internal audits by coordinating with auditors.

b. Ensure reporting of audit findings to the management as per escalation mechanisms, basis which action plans are proposed and approved by the management with the aim to overcome gaps revealed in the previous audit.

c. Ensure fulfillment of for audit requirements for holding company or offshore entities.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting:

a. Lead customary and well-timed preparation of statutory financials in the form of Balance sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, Schedules, disclosure, and other related items.

b. Manage MIS like Variance analysis, branches reporting, Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for onward reporting.

2. Manage Financial planning, reporting and MIS.

- Prepare management MIS like Variance analysis, branches reporting, Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for onward reporting.

- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support

- Periodic analysis of budget vs actual financials and detailed level clear action plan agreed with all stakeholders

- Involved in setting up the budget from scratch; Responsible to coordinate with various stakeholder and prepare the financial budget of the Company

- Prepare financial projections of the company for various regulatory reporting, investors reference and valuations exercise

- Implement critical cost optimization projects and oversee their implementation

- Analyze business trends and past results, advise on how company performance can be improved and explore potential growth scenario

- Prepare management MIS like Variance analysis, branches reporting, Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for onward reporting.

3. Stakeholder management:

- Drive good relationship building with all functions to inculcate a sense of trust, confidence, and integrity.

- Liaise with external consultants and advisors to seek expertise on various accounting matters.

- Liaise with finance controller to ensure that she has accurate information regarding latest updates pertaining to tax, any potential risk or threat etc. and get any approvals that are required.

- Support business teams by aiding on day to day activities.

- Support on adhoc regulatory requirements by providing data, analysis, and financial number assistance.

- Participate and support on project analysis, research, validation of plans and on ad-hoc requests.

- Participate on audit committee/ board/ investor reporting requirements by making of financial ratios, budget vs actual numbers or any adhoc reports

4. People Development:

- Support team members in delivering their responsibilities in business as usual and resolve their concern/ challenges, if any

- Improve capabilities and processes and provide support and training to team members.

a) Qualifications:

- CA/CS

- Specialized professional in area of finance, forecasting and budgeting

b) Work Experience:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Finance sector
