Avenue Supermarts Limited operates one of the leading and popular supermarket chains under the brand name "DMart" and has currently 350 stores operational in 12 States of India. The corporate office of Avenue Supermarts Limited is in Thane, Maharashtra.

Job Description :

To handle all Non-litigation matters for the organization for the State of Maharashtra.

1. Work with the package teams working on non litigation matters concerning the Group.

2 Apply structured problem solving skills in either roles (litigation team / Non litigation team) to create value for the organization.

3. Due diligence of lands and structuring of acquisitions.

4. Lead initiatives to put in place best in class systems and processes in order to improve team performance

5. Lead, direct and guide a team of executives to deliver 100% on-time and at-quality support across multiple divisions.

6. Vetting of documents such as Agreement for Sale, Leave & License Agreement, Lease Agreement, Development Agreements, Deed of Conveyance, Tenancy Agreement, Deed of Gift, Documents related to Mortgage - Hypothecation - Pledge, Power Of Attorney, Affidavit and other documents pertaining to litigation.

7. Internal Interactions: Law firms, Council, Advocates, Solicitors

8. Minimum practice of 8 years in Real Estate Company/Retail and having handled matters involving property laws including revenue related proceedings, Title search etc.

Special Requirements :

- Should have excellent Commercial drafting skills - MUST

- Should have sound knowledge of Property Laws of State of Maharashtra.

- Should be well versed with court procedures. Negotiating and communicating as well as settlement talks with clients.

- Should have excellent drafting skills with regard to Court Proceedings

Educational Qualification : LLB/LLM

Experience : 12 to 16 Years

Salary Range : 15,00,000 to 22,00,000
