The company has its headquarters in Mumbai. - The brands D Mart, D Mart Minimax, D Mart Premia, D Homes, Dutch Harbour, etc are brands owned by ASL OUR REACH : Please see below for cities and store locations : Maharashtra, Amravati, Aurangabad, Ichalkaranji, Jalgaon, Karad, Kolhapur, Nanded, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Badlapur, Mira Bhayander, Panvel, Raigad, Vasai-Virar, Pune, Satara, Sangli, Solapur, Thane, Kalyan-Dombivali, Gujarat, Ahmedabad, Anand, Baroda, Bhuj, Gandhinagar, Mehsana, Nadiad, Rajkot, Surat, Valsad, Telangana, Hyderabad, Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, Kakinada, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Karnataka, Bengaluru, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, Indore, Ratlam, Chhattisgarh, Raipur, NCR, Ghaziabad Position : DGM (Accounts & Finance ) Exp : 9 + yrs Base Location : Thane (Corporate office) but will have to travel to Powai office Frequently Industry Pref - Manufacturing /Retail /Supply chain Qualification : CA (Max 3 attempts ) Skill Set : - Financial & Accounts, Variance Analysis, Audit & Taxation, Accounts Receivable & Payable Accounts, Reconciliation, Cash Flow Management, MIS Reporting & Documentation, Budgeting & Forecasting Team Management - Planning and executing monthly / quarterly / annual closure schedules providing monthly financial statements,administering the monthly closing process - Ensuring reclassification and accounting of wrong or unaccounted entries prior to closure of the General Ledger - Preparing and explaining weekly profit & loss projections; establishing product line profit & loss statements to identifying opportunities and risks - Liaising with the Finance Controller in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and strategic plans - Presenting weekly and monthly management reports on cost and benefit analysis, productivity analysis, inventory turnover analysis and cost variance analysis - Reviewing financial results; undertaking year-on-year and quarterly comparison of company performance both in terms of the top line and bottom line - Evaluating Balance Sheet reconciliations prepared by the team for closure (including open, unusual and aged items) - Supervising the Balance Sheet, analysing quarterly fluctuations in Balance Sheet Accounts; conducting root cause analysis of accounts having major fluctuations on a quarterly basis - Assessing balance sheet accounts and profit & loss accounts at unit level; ensuring integrity of all reported financial statements, Creating an integrated financial model, consolidating and verifying all business assumptions, and preparing a budget book for review by Executive Management, revising forecasts based on monthly financial reviews - Generating business cases to provide analytical support and financial impacts related to proposed service reductions and enhancements - Controlling Indirect Taxation matters (especially in VAT/CST/Octroi/Professional Tax/Service Tax) across India with a team in taxation department - Coordinating with the statutory authorities up to Tribunal and resolved successfully assessment/appeal / Remand Cases - Liaising with the VAT/CST authorities for assessment & appeal cases - Arranging 'C' & 'F' Forms from Customer - Managing statutory records at Branches across India
