Position: Deputy Manager/Manager Branded Content/AFP Sales
Location: Chennai
Role Overview
Reporting to the Regional Head of Branded Content, the role holder will be responsible for driving revenue growth and maximize monetization opportunities for Branded Content, South Region.
Key Responsibilities
Overall
- Responsible for Branded Content Revenue Growth
- Co-creating with the editorial team and the sales team winning branded content propositions for clients
- Adding to the existing client base and constantly develop new accounts
- Work towards pushing clients to increase outlays for spends towards branded content
- In depth account management skills to ensure client servicing and increasing repeat business possibilities
Customers
- Effective management of agencies & Partners
- Liaison with internal stakeholders - editorial, content, sales, distribution team
- Deal effectively with internal team & external agencies- media, creative, PR- drive synergy for a cohesive communication output
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- A principle-centered business leader, with great people skills and a passion for excellence
- Strong inter-personal skills and effective organization and planning capabilities
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Self starter with bent for analysis and problem solving
- A minimum 4-6 years of Experience in ad sales/branded content and related areas in media
- A passion and in-depth understanding of the News
- MBA - preferably with Sales & Marketing as area of specialization, preferably from the Media and Advertising space
