Position Title - Deputy Manager, Business Analysis

Department - MBS

Base Location - Bangalore

Job Purpose

The purpose of the role is:

- To do technical compliance for RFPs, create solution architecture and BOM for the Bid/RFP

- To do detailed scoping with customer post PO, create detailed scope of work and RTM

- To gather requirements from customer, create statement of work and BOM for Change requests and applications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- RFP Compliance

- Defining Business Requirement Specification

- Defining Technical Requirement Specification

- Creating Requirement Traceability Matrix

- Creating Solution architecture and BOM

- Collaboration with customer for scoping

- Collaboration with various engineering teams for technical solution, effort and plan

- Collaboration with Delivery team during implementation

- Collaboration with BD for Technical Proposals for RFP, Non-RFPs, CRs, Applications, hardware upgrades, migration/replacement proposals.

- Collaboration with support team for data on existing deployments.

- Creating high level project plan for RFPs, CRs, Applications

- Creating Migration strategy, scope and plan

- Defining acceptance and exit criteria for projects

- Defining project deliverables

- Business travel for scoping, requirement gathering

- End to end ownership of solution from Bid stage to delivery.

Key Competencies Required

Functional

- MUST HAVE: Domain expertise in Signaling (SS7, Sigtran), technologies like GSM/3GPP, MAP, IN, SMS, USSD, MMS

- Hardware and solutioning expertise

- Know how of technologies like SMPP, UCP, CIMD, HTTP, XML, SOAP, UCIP, Diameter

- Expertise in handling application and database security is preferred.

Education and Experience

- BE/MTech in CS/IT/E&E/E&C

- 5 to 7 years in Messaging Space (SMSC, USSD, MMSC)
