Job Expectation & Scope :

- Insight Manager will be responsible for driving consumer and market insights by infusing the deep understanding of consumers into the relevant categories and sub-categories for d.light to help build understanding of the consumers, the pricing and overall promotion of a product category to maximize consumer appeal.

- He / She will Lead to help develop Analytics and Consumer & Brand Insights capability; apply this knowledge to build growth as well as infuse this knowledge across key stakeholders along with inspiring research suppliers to consistently deliver their best efforts.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Drive the agenda, functionality & actionability of transversal insights studies like U&A, Brand Equity & Need scope, Need states / Opportunity mapping etc.

2. Monitor consumer behavior, needs, and trends of d.light products with a view to ensure a highly proactive management of business opportunities to identify potential levers of growth for business.

3. Drive the innovation initiative to facilitate, identify and streamline future innovation product pipeline. Post Launch of Product, he/she will track existing innovations to identify measures of success and further growth imperatives of the Product.

4. Product Portfolio Strategy ; To develop strategies and seek opportunities to maintain/gain market leadership in various categories with a view to find new opportunities, establish and maintain strong position in the market.

5. Uses broader range of research tools/resources/processes to assess business issues; proactively identifies the key business issues/questions and develops the most appropriate analytic plan to address business/ research needs.

6. Work closely with Procurement and Sourcing teams to scout possible solutions to meet the customer need, evaluate them and develop business strategy for future growth.

7. Integrates knowledge from multiple sources and creates meaningful interpretations and recommendations that address business issues and ensures alignment with key business partners. Influences others in the implementation of action steps to drive the business.

8. He/ She must have experience in statistical models' development (Probabilistic graphical models, marketing Mix Models, Market Basket Analysis, Cannibalization Models, Share of Market Forecast Models).

9. Demonstrates ability to influence cross-functional and upper management to impact decision-making; Willingness to "have an opinion" backed up by insight and analytics and the confidence to influence team members in meetings and one to one basis reduction plan for each category.

Successful Candidate Profile :

1. Post-graduate from premier Management Institution/Master's Degree from premier institute preferred MBA/PGDM in Marketing.

2. Understanding of quantitative, qualitative research methodologies (Brand Health, U&A, Brand Equity, Brand Architecture, Communication Development & Testing) & application of the same for business decisions is a must.

3. Minimum of 3 to 5 Years of relevant Insight Market research experience.

4. Advanced analytical skills with experience in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy.

5. Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to think analytically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues and communicate solutions/conclusions clearly and concisely.

6. Data visualization skills are a must. Technical market research and analytical expertise and conversant in a range of quantitative research techniques and syndicated business analyses

7. Proficiency with MS Office programs and structuring Internal & External communications for successful deal negotiations & Senior Management Approvals

8. Proficient in both oral and written English.

9. Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and organize. Demonstrate high values of ownership in a dynamic and fast-paced-culture.
