Product Sourcing manager - Product scoping and planning (strategic and tactical) for new profit pool; Develop, maintain, and improve processes for sourcing and approving new products. - Vendor Selection and development for existing and new businesses through RFX, Commercial Agreement etc - Direct efforts with sales, marketing, engineering, and suppliers to develop new and proprietary branded products. This will include product quality, design, performance, certifications, and packaging - Develop International and Domestic Supply base, Support New Product Introduction :- bridge gap between marketing, strategic supplier, engineering and global team - Create supplier report cards. Evaluate based on quality, price, and on time delivery. - Visit factories with overseas personnel and customers - Supervise and direct all activities of purchasing and overseas office personnel. This includes all daily duties along with hiring, training, and performance reviews. - Managing cost reduction strategies through Should-Costing, commercial discussions, Value Engineering, DTV and Sourcing flexibility - Supplier Performance Management based on various criterion such as Cost, Quality, Delivery performance, through tools like Vontik, Balance Score Card, Financial Analysis of Balance Sheet, etc - Understanding Supplier Quality through Supplier Manufacturing System establishment, Supplier Audit, PPAP, PDI, 8D and Quality tools ( Capability Building) - Managing Financials through plans and executing strategies to mitigate gap if any - Managing and deploying risk mitigation programs to limit exposure to supply disruptions - Reviewing Demand Planning with S&M team in comparison with Sales trend analysis, LY, deployed plans to correct demand forecast & perform SKU rationalization - Drive Sales & operations planning (S&OP) process to enable management decision - Maintain inventory within budget to avoid cash flow issues - Managing complexities of supply base with cross functional alignment - Supporting product development by conducting capacity analysis, assisting in finalizing specifications, prototype development - Single Point of Coordination between Supplier, d.light Global and technical team to provide technical inputs & engineering support from conception to completion stage of the product development
