Job Expectation and Scope:

- The associate director will manage daily program operations, develop program policy/procedure, conduct program assessment and evaluation, manage fiscal administration, and participate in strategic planning. They will advise company on ways to minimize expenses, maximize profits and oversee complex financial and accounting processes to ensure the future success and growth of a company.

- They will establish strategies that will earn profits, oversee accounting operations, produce accurate reports on where money is going within the business and improve or change current practices to increase efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Timely preparation of monthly and quarterly financial management reports including analysis and commentary

- Preparing monthly group consolidated accounts

- Monitoring debt covenants

- Proactively on regular intervals perform covenants testing and scenario analysis

- Planning and managing the group annual audit including the US and Mauritius entities. Ensuring completed within 90 days

- Transactional management for the US and Mauritius entities

- Ensure compliance with US and Mauritius tax and statutory requirements

- Managing complex accounting matters and develop group accounting policy in this regard

- Working Capital Management

- Prepare annual operating plans for the Finance function and monthly updates to the plan

- 409a common stock valuation

- Preparation of monthly Board deck including analysis and commentary

- Ensure team is well motivated, self-driven and working in line with the groups values.

Profile:

1. Chartered Accountant (Must)

2. Primary skills - Financial and management reporting, business analysis, project management (> 5 years of relevant work experience)

3. Ability to succeed with minimal supervision

4. An appreciation and a good understanding of macroeconomics and external factors affecting the business strategies adopted, and market serviced by d.light.

5. Ability to analyse and evaluate data for acceptability and correctness.

6. Analytical mind with strong orientation to financial analysis.

7. High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint along with attention to detail is a must

8. Keep updated about changes in the applicable tax laws, deadlines, regulations etc.

9. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, stakeholder management and negotiation skills

10. Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables while meeting all goals and deadlines

11. Problem solver with high integrity
