Major Responsibilities :  - The role will have dual responsibility of building/overseeing the Finance and Accounting Shared Service Center operations and leading the corporate finance function.   - This role will demonstrate exceptional business acumen in conceptualizing, leading and executing Finance strategies resulting in consistency and positive business impacts.   - The incumbent will be responsible for the overall quality of service delivery to the Finance organization, including acting as an escalation point to resolve and correct any issues/concerns. This role requires interaction with C- Suite executives.  Role Responsibilities :  - Establishes the Corporate Finance and Accounting (F&A) shared services organization, ensuring these are operated efficiently and effectively and in compliance with business controls.  - Establishes, transitions, and drives robust processes to support F&A operations, ensures these processes are aligned with the organization priorities and standards, follow timelines and mitigate risks.  - Oversees the Corporate Finance function encompassing Accounting reporting, financial planning analysis and tax compliance.  - Responsible to establish and maintain a process for tracking/monitoring process performance across all F&A process areas, including establishment of SLAs/performance standards and regular reporting of process metrics/performance.  - Ensures that all documentation is accurate, complete and maintained in accordance with the organziation's policy.   - Builds relationships with global key stakeholders/leaders in the organization by providing leadership and management support.  - Provides thought leadership and guides the internal team to align with the overall business objectives.  - Builds a world class Corporate Finance team and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to enable success, as well as build the employer brand in the community.  - Trains, coaches, mentors, sets clear objectives and develops strategies to develop and retain top talent.  - Develops high performing team members as future leaders and resolves escalated conflicts/grievances as necessary.  Additional Role Responsibilities - India :  - Acts as the face of the India Finance Shared Services team, and exhibits a high degree of customer service for internal - customers/business partners- within the India Finance team. Acts as the focal point for any performance issues/challenges that are escalated for resolution.   - Supports internal India leadership team across all aspects of Finance including budgeting, forecasting and reporting and analysis of actual financial performance.  Performance Measures/Outcomes :  - Overall success of the Finance organization processes, collaboration, and coordination with the North American team   - Hiring, onboarding, and developing a high performing and high potential team.  Role Qualifications :  - Public/Chartered Accountant/MBA Finance with 8 - 10 years of work experience in MNCs/Big 4 Audit and Consulting firms.   - Demonstrates previous leadership experience in a variety of compliance, fiscal and statutory financial areas.  - SOX compliance and experience operating within a publicly listed company preferred.  - Proven Finance leader skilled in collaboration and relationship building with large worldwide teams across highly matrixed organizations with experience communicating at an executive level.   - Demonstrates experience in managing a process-driven environment, including establishment and maintenance of SLAs/performance standards and process scorecards.   - Clearly demonstrated skills in customer service in a shared service/outsourced environment.  - Excellent track record of developing and managing high performing teams, delivering impactful projects.  - Self-driven with high integrity, must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills and customer/stakeholder management experience.   - Experience working with large ERP systems is required.  - Results-driven, reliable and excellent problem solving/analytical skills required.  - Written/verbal communication in English at a high level is required.   Additional Role Qualifications - India :  - Demonstrates experience in performance, review and continuous improvement of a process-driven GIC.  - Expertise in overseeing the corporate Finance function, understands how GICs operate from a corporate Finance standpoint.  - Working knowledge and experience in one (and preferably all) of IFRS, US GAAP and Indian GAAP.  - Expertise in incubating global best practices in Accounting and Finance and driving process improvement projects in a GIC.
