 Description - As the Divisional CFO, you will be responsible for showcasing excellent business partnering, by conceptualising and driving growth imperatives. The role focuses heavily on an overall divisional strategy, with focus on ensuring a healthy bottom line, advising on capital investments and tax planning.
 
Client Details : 

Our client is an Indian conglomerate, with 10+ businesses and a strong legacy of over 80 years. They are into various manufacturing and services businesses and have created a goodwill for themselves in the market. They are now looking for a strategic individual to lead the finance operations of one of their divisions.

Job Description : 

As the Divisional CFO, you would report into the Business Head of the Division, along with the Group CFO. Your key responsibilities are:

- Contribute towards overall business growth, financial strategy and development of the business unit

- Develop and implement strategies to ensure financial flexibility

- Drive the short term and long term financial planning exercise for the Division

- Provide strategic direction in annual budgeting exercise, financial / operations analysis, performance, risk and mitigation mechanisms

- Provide advice/guidance on matters of business capital investment and expense control

- Drive effective working capital management in the Division to ensure adequate liquidity

- Drive Division - wide Profit Improvement Programs that ensures a healthy bottom line

- Ensure direct & indirect tax compliance and optimisation through astute tax planning exercise

Profile : 

As a successful applicant, you are a Chartered Accountant with 20-25 years of experience across the entire gamut of finance and accounts, focusing heavily on financial planning and strategy. You are currently the regional / divisional CFO and are looking for a wider, challenging role in a growing industry.
