Client Details

Kaufland is the 4th largest retail organization in the world. Kaufland is Germany Headquartered Hypermarket chain with over 1,000 stores across Europe and Australia. They are known for their wide portfolio of products in categories including food, apparels, textiles, hardline etc. The apparels, textiles sourcing for their stores is majorly done from the Bangladesh market. They are looking to expand their sourcing operations in Bangladesh and hence, are looking to recruit a Division Manager Quality Assurance based out of their office in Dhaka, Bangladesh

Job Description

Reporting to the Country Head, you will be responsible for -

- End to end quality control operations across all the categories of products sourced from Bangladesh

- Ensuring the sampling and tests of the products are done within timelines followed by planned production of the same

- Getting the desired sampling and clearances of the products from relevant authorities with regards to the quality standards and all other specifications

- Managing relationships across all the vendors in Bangladesh market, there by ensuring the high efficiency levels in work focusing on long term business growth

- Leading a team of 10 employees including garment technician, QA managers, etc.

Profile

You will be a professional with more than 10 years of experience in managing the end to end quality control, sampling and testing and getting the clearances done from relevant authorities. Professional should have experience of managing quality control in products including textiles, apparels, accessories, etc. Knowledge in physical and chemical testing is a must. German native/ nationals will be preferred. Strong hold over German language is must. The client is looking for someone with excellent communication, leadership skills and the ability to manage large scale business operations
