Detailed job description:
- Work with assigned Distributors Product Teams to showcase XXX offerings
- Ongoing management & engagement of Distributors for Coverage & XXX platform level engagement
- Lead the Distributors Empanelment for XXX platform level & subsequent funds for achieving Targets for the Year
- Doing/Getting the meetings done with senior management with all Stake Holders of Distributors for building long association.
- Assist the interested distributors product teams in carrying out the entire Due Diligence & evaluation process (including giving access to Data Room) on the fund/strategy till the time they give their final clearance and empanel
- Collaboration - Coordinating with all XXX internal teams for carrying out Distributors due diligence process
- Documentation & Servicing (negotiations and closure of agreements like distribution agreements, NDAs, MOUs, Referral agreements, subscription agreements etc)
- Distributors Asset Allocation Needs - Understanding Investors needs and providing the same info to platform team to conceptualize new funds and improvise existing offer docs.
- Market Research - Tracking competition, AIF's & Industry and competition analysis on their various offerings
- Planning Calendar - Planning yearly & quarterly Fund launch & Distribution calendars for each Distributors in advance
- Conduct - Investor Education Programs / client engagement programs / Webinars for active engagement & strengthening all the targeted Distributor Relationships.
- Act like a brand custodian to ensure all communication activities within brand guidelines/compliance.
- Understand the product requirements of Distributors and deliver the same in compliant way & ensure quarterly updated marketing collateral are getting shared and is being used post empanelment on particular fund/strategy.
- Ongoing travel to visit & meet the assigned Distributors stake holders to strengthen the relationships
- Accountable for each & every activity till empanelment is completed, Distribution Agreement is signed and Product Launch is done
- Responsible to track & align with the Sales Head & team of XXX to bring all future draw-downs from the respective distributors for even existing funds which were sold earlier
- Accountable to all query resolution of assigned distributors for all funds of XXX
Expected skill sets/Background:
- Candidates with Distributors Coverage experience for AIF's (CAT I, II & III) will be preferred.
~15 years of work experience in Distributors empanelment & Coverage for products manufactured by AIF's, Mutual Funds, Financial Institutions & Private Wealth Firm
- Good in relationship building and have good knowledge of Investment products offered to Private Wealth Investors by Private Wealth Outfits
- Proven track record of working with distributors product teams
- Creative, results-driven thinker who can clearly translate priorities into strategy.
- Business Development Skills and zeal to travel & interact with people
- Good understanding of Financial Market & how Private Wealth industry works.
- Prefer candidates with MBA in marketing.
