Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for drawing up distribution sales strategy in alignment with business goals; delivering annual sales plan, exploring new opportunities proactively for existing and new product lines.
- Pro-actively manage dealer network.
- Assess existing dealer network
- Expand network by inducting new dealers
- Establish trust and a partnership with dealer principals to penetrate and grow the market
- Develop a territory business plan for key dealers in the region which includes forecasting on a short, mid, and long term basis
- Serve as main point of contact for dealer network
- Work with Marketing and Product Management on current and new product promotions.
- Build and manage the pan-India sales team effectively in order to achieve the overall and individual goals
- Hire / train the regional teams
- Set achievable goals; monitor performance and provide support and corrective measures as required
- Coach and mentor them for their growth

Candidate Profile:
- Engineer from a reputed institution, MBA will be an added advantage
- 15 years of experience in MNC's into equipment sales business, experience in holding positions with responsibility of sales strategy as well as performance
- Strong dealer network expansion and management exposure and proven track record
- Exposure to starting new sales initiatives and innovative solutions
- Knowledge of English, Hindi and a regional language.
