DishTV - Data Hygienist

Role :

- Manage consistency and standardization of master data for all Applications including SaS &SSRS.

- Ensure integrity and timely availability of data for MIS and analytic requirements.

- Improve the quality, accessibility and value of available information.

- Assist in integrating the required intelligence into business operations.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for various operational and transactional processes for data extraction and hygiene typically involving updating, standardizing and de-duplicating records to create the single view of data even if it is stored in multiple disparate systems.

- Provide Data Management services using detailed knowledge and skills of Data Hygiene tools.

- Examine Data quality techniques that can be deployed to understand potential errors in the data.

- Ensure that Data Hygiene and audit reports delivered to the analytics team are available and up to date.

- Identify inconsistencies and gaps in Data to ensure that the analytics team gets consistent and relevant data to work on.

Mandatory Skills

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or MCA.

- At least 3 years work experience as a Data Management or similar role

- In-depth understanding of database structure principles

- Proficiency with Oracle and SQL.

- Problem-solving attitude

- Excellent written and communication skills.

Desired Skills

- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, D3.js and R)

- Proficiency in MS Excel

- Proficiency in SAS
