Job description : Product Leader (Director/Vice President)

Industry: A Fin-tech venture funded by the largest global investors. Led by star leadership

Role: Create a leadership in the SME lending space through product innovation

Location: Gurgaon

Reporting to : CEO

Director or VP of the product is responsible for all customer facing offerings. He will own and manage the product strategy, roadmap, development and go to market. All product both internal and external facing must be built with a view of creating differentiation, scalability and long-term defensibility.

Requirement :

1) Constantly evaluate business requirements and prioritize them for maximum ROI 

2) Explore and Utilize leading technologies, alternate data source and linkages of working capital business to create impactful products to keep the company stay ahead of the curve

 3) Coach and manage team of product managers to breakdown the product vision into user stories, create storyboards, write specifications, prioritize features, build consensus, and coordinate product schedules a. Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. 

 4) Evaluate the progress and success metrics periodically to inform business teams and stakeholders

Experience and Education :

1) Demonstrated expertise in bringing platform and consumer product experiences to market with history of iteration and innovation and increased adoption of product 

2) Should be someone who is comfortable talking product and technology with business decision makers and industry peers 

3) Overall experience of 8-12 years with a minimum of 4 years of pure platform Product Management experience in Finance-loans/ Banking/ E-Commerce / Technology industry. 

4) Should be good at connecting the dots for creating first of its kind offerings

Good to have :

1) Exposure to Technology, Mobile Product Management, Experience in financial industry would be preferred. 2) Graduation from premium colleges and Post-graduation from top colleges would be a plus.
