We are hiring a Director - US Corporate Tax for our Financial Services client based at Bangalore location. Requirements: - Review of US federal, and state income tax returns, including all related analysis and support. - Research, analysis and documentation surrounding US tax technical positions. - Review and respond to client inquiries regarding tax matters. - Maintain and develop client relationship. - Research and prepare technical memorandums on US tax topics. - Analyze and interpret changes to federal and state tax laws as well as communicate impact of changes to clients. - Provide project management guidance to ensure timely and accurate filing of US tax compliance deliverables and other US tax advisory projects. - Consider, evaluate and implement potential Federal, state and international US tax planning strategies. - Review US tax provisions (ASC 740), and coordination with client on data requests. - Evaluate current and future implications of changes in US federal and state tax law/rulings. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance or related fields. - Valid CPA and/or EA license preferred. - Minimum 15 years of US corporate tax experience ideally at a Big4 or other public accounting firm. - Comprehensive understanding of US corporate tax technical and compliance concepts. - Strong US tax technical research and memo writing skills. - Excellent internal and external written and verbal communication skills.
