Director - Treasury Finance - Bank

A leading Foreign Bank is seeking for Director -Treasury Finance.

Location : Hyderabad

Job Description :

- Subject matter expert in Treasury Asset & Liability Management (ALM) operating models and their products applied (eg IRS, FX options etc).

- Deliver high quality Treasury & Non-Core and Legacy reporting and analytics for Group and all Business Divisions.

- Critically review, analyze and challenge the financial resource usage.

- Support client engagement model and establish RAS Treasury & Non-Core and Legacy as a trusted & recognized business partner.

- Cooperate with the respective Businesses, Group Accounting & Controlling, Treasury and Business CFO's to achieve high quality financial information and analysis.

- Support Regional Treasury Reporting activities and subsidiarization projects. Engage and define with Regional Treasuries on regional Performance requirements (incl. local regulations).

- Regularly review and challenge our clients' needs and their existing and new demands; any new report(s) to be set-up in a standardized process.

- Provide senior management with ad-hoc analysis.

- Respond promptly to feedback on the understanding of data and information the team distributes.

- Responsible to develop the offshore team member in their business understanding and knowledge of Treasury & Non-Core and Legacy.

- Critically review, analyze and challenge the financial resource usage.

Requirements:

To strengthen our team and in order to successfully perform this role the candidate will need to have the following qualifications and experience:

- Higher degree and professional qualification: minimum 5 year experience in treasury and finance reporting and controlling in the financial service industry.

- Sound understanding of Banking business, in particular Investment Banking, Treasury and Wealth Management.

- Profound understanding of plain vanilla derivative instruments and their risk profiles.

- Moderate understanding of Basel 3 capital & liquidity regulations and models and IFRS Balance Sheet.

- Strong analytical and review skills.

- Strong MS office knowledge (Excel, Word and MS Access).

- Good technology knowledge (preferably Finance ledger).

- Strong English language skills, verbal and writing.

- Team lead experience.

- Strong communication, reliable and accurate working style.

- Attention to detail but able to maintain big picture and convey complex messages to senior management.

- Good team player, high flexible, commitment to meet quality and ability to manage tight deadlines.

- US or UK working experience.
