As a key, senior member of our Direct Tax vertical, your focus shall be on leading a team for providing M&A Tax and Direct Tax Advisory services to Domestic & International Clients from diverse industries.

Our M&A Tax team provides end-to-end solutions for addressing Tax and Regulatory requirements in matters of M&A Transactions. Our service offering encompasses a broad range including Family Settlements and Succession Planning via Private Family Trusts, Wills etc., Tax Restructuring, Merger, Demergers, Slump Sales, Acquisition, Tax Due Diligence, Transaction Advisory and more. Our team comprises of expert professionals who have in-depth experience in executing deals and transactions for leading business houses in India, MNC's, UNHIs, some of the largest Family Offices in the country etc.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA's):

Client Engagement & Delivery:

- M&A Tax/ Transaction Tax Advisory and opinion on Merger, Demergers, Slump sales, Business Succession and Transaction Tax

- Consultation & Advisory on Direct Taxation (Domestic & International)

- Advising on international tax issues such as Cross Border Transactions, DTAA aspects, Withholding Tax, Permanent Establishments, Foreign Company Strategies, Repatriations, etc.

- Advising on Corporate Tax Planning, strategic issues and complex tax matters including business reconstruction.

- Develop strong professional relationship with the Senior Management of Client groups from diverse industries with an objective to be their trusted advisor and a go-to person.

- Lead multiple complex tax engagements, planning and day-to-day delivery.

- Managing and mentoring the team to ensure timely delivery of quality work.

- Display Leadership capability by managing client relations, Business Development and growing the division.

People Development & Knowledge Sharing:

- Manage & coach your team; mobilize and inspire them to meet allocated deliverables.

- Create an environment to enhance camaraderie, promote Firm's core values and ethics; drive professional growth & retention of team.

- Promote thought leadership, champion knowledge sharing efforts, review and continually improve processes for enhancement of learning & development within the Firm.

- Represent the Firm at seminars/ tax forums/ suitable meets, write articles at various forums.

To qualify for this role, you must have:

Requisite Experience:

- Over 8 years of experience in M&A Tax/ Direct Tax/ Corporate Tax Advisory Services at reputed Consulting / CA firms / Industry.

Requisite Qualification: Chartered Accountant / LLB
