JD -

1. Participating in Business Strategy/Direction discussions with the Top Management of the company.

2. Participating in regular discussions with Business heads, Development Manager and CTO on current issues, evolving business requirements and technology trends, and deciding on appropriate responses and priorities to meet them.

3. Deciding on the Technology and Infrastructure strategy for the company to meet its current and future business needs, and getting required budget approvals for the same.

4. Creating a suitable Technology team structure within available budget to meet the current and future software development and support needs.

5. Proposing, negotiating and finalizing the solution strategy and high-level architecture for integrating with customers, partners and service providers, and guiding them on their development tasks where needed.

6. Vetting techno-commercial proposals from infrastructure service providers / vendors on technical grounds and shortlisting suitable vendors.

7. Evaluating operational partnership proposals for techno-commercial feasibility and desirability to meet current and/or future business needs faster or more efficiently (i.e., making Build/Buy/Partner recommendations to the top management team of the company).

8. Acting as back-up to the Development Manager and CTO.
