- You are a mix of project manager and development manager, you can write specs, understand technical requirements and are able to guide a product based project from conception to launch

- You have deep and broad services architecture and hands on software engineering/development experience and are able to roll up your sleeves and write code if needed

What You'll Do:

- Manage project plans and project teams (internal and external) to execute on plans, complete tasks and deliver releases

- Manage schedules, project scope, assets, deliverable priorities and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project delivery dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon

- Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals

- Translate product requirements into technical projects.

- Act as a liaison between engineering, product, management and other stakeholders to close the communication gap and ensure that deliverables and releases align with priorities.

- Communicate and document project status and strategic recommendations to team members and senior management on a weekly basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels

- Leverage Agile principles and ideas to make projects and tasks more efficient

- Hold the team accountable for their commitments and provide transparency for all team activities

- Deliver robust product on time and on budget without incurring technical debt

Skills & Knowledge You Should Possess:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience required, MS a plus

- 5+ years of technical project management experience leading a full stack development team

- 5+ years demonstrated experience building large-scale, high-traffic, 3 tier services stacks

- 4-5 years of experience designing and implementing SOA services for media centric projects using synchronous/asynchronous and stateless processing models

- Extensive expertise with services software stack architecture including building and maintaining database schemas, workflow optimization, batch processing, microservices architectures, and tiered caching architectures to optimize content delivery

- Ability to create, manage, and deliver against large, interdependent project plans

- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills

- Ability to understand and document project requirements and dependencies

- Understanding of business and functional requirements

- Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion is critical

Required experience:

- Git, Confluence and Jira

- Building and operating a CI/CD environment utilizing Jenkins, Chef/Puppet/Ansible, Nexus, Maven and/or AWS Code Pipeline

- Work fluently with Java, Python, Node.js, SQL and NoSQL databases

- Building and operating autoscaling environment with Docker in AWS

- Leveraging AWS platforms and tooling to optimize time-to-market and control operational cost

- Building highly optimized, highly available, scalable, redundant, transaction-based SOA software to service apps

- Instrumenting services for defect detection, performance , business intelligence analytics and infrastructure/application incident triage

- Leveraging top-tier Content Delivery Networks (CDN) to optimize content delivery and site performance.

- Managing and working with agile development processes, tools and rituals.

- Supporting and performing Code Reviews.

Desirable experience:

- Deep hands-on experience configuring and operating the following AWS products/platforms: EC2, ALB/ELB, S3, Route 53, AMI, CloudFormation, ASGs, Fargate/EKS, CloudFront, Docker, ECS, RDS, KMS, IAM, WAF.

- Familiarity with Logstash/Filebeat, Elasticache, Kibana.

- Familiarity with client-side mobile and responsive web technologies such as iOS, Android, HTML(5),
