Client Details

Our client is one of the leading chemicals companies in the world. They are widely regarded as pioneers in this space, and are always at the forefront of developing new and innovative products. Their R&D facilities and personnel are among the best in the world. Over the years, they have been able to establish a strong foothold in the India market, and are currently looking at further strengthening their position here. They are looking to recruit a Director - Technology/R&D Center, based out of their facility in Delhi NCR.

Job Description

Reporting to a Global Director, you will be responsible for -

- Managing the operations/functioning of the center end to end (across formulation, product development, and aspects of quality management)

- Liaising extensively with cross functional team to drive synergies in the business

- Leading a team of professionals (scientists, engineers, PhD's)

Profile

You will be graduate with a degree in chemistry or materials science, with around 15-20 years of experience. Prior experience in specialty chemicals, coatings, paints, inks, adhesives etc is a must. The client is looking for someone with excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills. You should have the ability to work in a truly matrix/global organization, where you will be liaising extensively with global stakeholders.
