About Our Client

Our client is a leading multinational manufacturing and pharmaceutical business with operations across the world. With the company growing at a rapid pace across the Asia Pacific, the have made strategic investments in India.They are currently recruiting for a specialist in taxation to head their pan India operations with their tax strategy and development based out of their corporate office in Bangalore.

Job Description

- As the Director Taxation you will be handling a team of 3 professionals based out of the corporate office and
reporting directly into the CFO and a dotted line to the Global Taxation head.

As a brief summary of your responsibilities:

- Responsible for tax compliance/planning and will work directly under the guidance of the corporate tax
department to handle all tax matters/issues

- Responsible for the filing and reporting of all Income tax, VAT, Service tax and other local taxes like Octroi
compliance to Corporate Tax and local statutory policies and procedures

- International Taxation and US income tax accounting

The Successful Applicant

- You are a qualified Chartered Accountant with 8 to 15 years work experience and have worked with or are currently working with a Big-4 taxation firm.

- You are a specialist in taxation with a strong exposure to Direct and Indirect taxation. You have a stable and proven track record of success in working with multinational companies in leading teams. You are articulate, mature and have had exposure to working closely with C-level stakeholders.
