As a SCMO practitioner you will work closely with clients to develop deep understanding of business critical activities specifically around the supply chain and secure clients- buy-in to strategic solutions, and work alongside clients to implement those solutions.
Depending on the assignment, your role could be end-to-end across the project life cycle or through a subset of the project phases that cover:
Business Development - Pre-Sales - Proposal Development - Sales Execution - Project Delivery - Deliverable Development - Final Recommendation - Presentation to Client management
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Team Management: Manage a team of 10-15 people across various levels.
- Business Development:Manage the business development activities and meet specific revenue targets. Responsible for billing and collections.
- Pre-Sales and Point of View (PoV) development: Industry analysis, issue definition for industry and/ or clients and hypothesis development
- Proposal development: Scope and approach definition in collaboration with the Partners / Senior Managers and the team of Consultants/Sr. Consultants/Managers.
- Sales Execution: Statement of Work/ Engagement Letter development
- Project Delivery:Manage supply chain client engagements with support of Managers in the segments of consumer and industrial products, process/chemicals and metals segments. This could include the following areas
Supply chain strategy and planning
Manufacturing strategy and lean manufacturing
Operations optimization
Strategic sourcing and procurement
Supply chain network optimization
Enterprise cost reduction
- Deliverable development/ Final recommendation: Aggregate findings and analysis to derive key insights and develop client recommendations
- Presentation to Client Management:Present the findings &recommendations to the client/s.
