Director - Supply Chain - eCommerce Startup

- Leading Supply Chain Management team activities & ensure smooth operations across a 24x6 schedule

- Manage inventory tracking system to record orders, billing, deliveries, shipments and stock levels

- Ability to forecast and plan the level of the inventories periodically and anticipate issues in advance

- Manage analytical process to forecast demand and estimate launch quantities for new products during seasonal sales

- Improving the inventory forecast and systemizing the forecasting and procurement process to improve fill rates across products and regions

- Need to oversee management of the inventory planning team by translating the forward-looking sales forecast & Orders on hand into a production plan and capacity utilization.

- Resolving operational issues that may arise from the end-to-end sales process (e.g., order status, returns, and deliveries, invoicing, pricing issues, and financial post sales programs, reporting).

- Supervise the Finished Goods warehousing team to ensure accurate stock reporting and FMFO compliance

- Manage the Outward logistics and ensure optimum service levels at competitive cost

- Engages with other functions and organizations to resolve issues (e.g., sales teams, supply chain, logistics) as they relate to customer support.

- Act as liaison between the CEO, CFO & Senior Management in communicating metrics, outstanding issues or needs of -the department

- Contribute to efforts to optimize current processes, often collaborating with other groups within the company to improve day-to-day activities.

- Manage stock transfers between warehouses and shipments to optimize operations and analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory issues

- Prepare reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and other issues to senior management.

- Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain and logistics.

- Assess team performance and provide reviews and feedback

- Ensure compliance with the company policies and relevant SOPs
