Director - State & Local Tax - US Geography - Big4

We have an urgent opening with one of the leading Big4 Firm :-

Location - Bangalore

Experience - 12 to 20 Yrs

Designation - Director

Tax State and Local Tax (SALT) [U.S Geography]

Chartered Accountant (preferably). Other qualifications such as Company Secretary, Cost Accountant, LLB.

10+ years or above of work experience in experience in US State and local tax.

Managed about 100 or more employees.

Experience working in BPO environment.

Highly process oriented with eye for detail.

Experience working on transition projects or engagement.

Basic to intermediate knowledge of US State and Local Tax and compliance issues.

Strong people management skills

Possess excellent communication skills with an ability to interact with all levels across the organization

Monitor work, manage, motivate and guide to deliver work of high quality

Develop appropriate client relationships and identify further client opportunities

Ability to understand the clients business, microeconomic and macroeconomic issues around the same

Keep up-to-date on tax jurisprudence, international developments on US SALT matters, etc.

Performance management of team, work allocation and identification of training and development needs

Take a significant role in sharing knowledge and supporting the development of team members

To ensure that the risk and other policies are being adhered to

Good Communication/ Interpersonal skills

Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment

Must have worked on US indirect tax, US state and Local tax matters for clients in several industries
