Director - Sourcing - Mfg/Auto

Job Responsibilities :

Purchasing Management :

- Supply intimation to vendors through scheduling lines

- Follow up with suppliers to complete committed delivery

- Schedules and ensure Spare parts, Consumables availability

- Release of purchase orders for imported parts and coordinating with logistics Dept. for timely clearance of the imported parts

- Maintain global communication for leveraging supplier cost competitiveness and global sourcing opportunities.

- Market analysis and benchmarking, Supplier selection, Procurement

- Conduct detailed costing exercise and negotiations

Key basic skills :

- Worked in indirect sourcing or consumable souring

- In-Depth suppliers or wholesaler or manufacturer or aggregator contact in the indirect sourcing or consumable souring market

- Have commercial & technical knowledge of the product categories, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and agents. (Abrasives, Drilling, Milling, Grinding, Tools, Turning & Boring, Measuring, Welding, Work Handling)

- Good negotiation and commercial skills
