Director - Software Sales (Only US citizens)

Profile :

- Minimum relevant experience of 10 years out of which last 3 years should

- have been at a similar position in a small or medium sized software development company having delivery location(s) in India

- Aggressive hunter with an active network of contacts and prospects in the industry that can be converted into sales quickly

- Must have built a successful sales organization from ground up in his/ her most recent job

- Consistent track record of success with quota

- Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles using solution selling techniques

- Thorough understanding of related technologies

- Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos and other remote sales processes

- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others

- Vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things done

Responsibilities :

Strategy:

- Design, implement and manage marketing and sales strategy for Americas

- Develop and implement pricing, forecasting and budgeting processes

Solution Sales:

- Build and manage the sales organization with a view on technology expertise and region based teams

- Achieve revenue milestones

- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions

- Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management

- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities

Internal Operations:

- Working with other departments to prioritize, coordinate and apply resources where needed

- Work closely with team in India to provide direction to technology strategy and identify product improvements or new products

Marketing:

- Contribute to marketing and sales collaterals

- Organize and represent company at tradeshows and industry events

Qualifications : Degree in Engineering & MBA is desirable, but not the constraint for the right candidate.

Location : USA (any city). Due to travel requirements, proximity to large airports will be an advantage.
