About the hiring company: A reputable, small-to-mid size IT consulting company headquartered in the USA. Job location: Nation capital region of Delhi, India About the position: - Play the second-in-command in the global pre-sales organization of the company - Contribute equally across the consulting and staff augmentation businesses - Co-lead opportunities on the pre-sales side (along with sales), majorly focusing on North America market and state & local govt. bodies in the US administration - Orient all activities to let pre-sales becoming the sole point of coordination between sales, practice/CoE and delivery, thus ensuring any & all friction or gaps or lack of understanding is out of the picture - Orient pre-sales to stay close to the customer during all stages of the engagement - Lead PoCs and solution demos while making sure they are the best-in-class and most competitive - Collaborate with company leadership on new business targets and how to facilitate them through meaningful pre-sales delivery - Ensure strong traction with the team and maintain & further strengthen, a culture of openness, leading by doing and continuous learning - Hire and train colleagues on the team - Improvise & standardize processes/approaches as far as bids and sales support deliverables are concerned Ideal candidate profile: - Senior professional with upto 15 years of experience in the IT consulting domain, and about the recent 50% of that being into managing pre-sales at a senior level - Latest 5 years' or more experience must be at a growing, small-to-mid sized or mid-sized IT consulting company - Highly experienced in winning business across the enterprise and state & local govt. bodies segments in North America and Americas at large - Should have versatile exposure to industry domains and not be too specialized in one or two industries - Been recently handling a min. business pipeline of USD 50 MM, with median deal ticket sizes ranging USD 600 K to 1.5 MM - Good experience in taking SMAC stack based digital transformation offerings to the market - Been a great relationships person; ability to work with stakeholders, internal or external, across levels - Strong track-record of people leadership - Strong customer alignment - of self & team, throughout all engagements What is not desirable: - Candidates working at captive technology units of non-tech companies/MNCs - Experience that involved very minimal collaboration or interaction or front-ending with customers, as this is not a typical back-end role that pre-sales at many organizations is like, but rather a highly active & driving role that ensures the entire company stands up to opportunities and does their best to win them Additional info.: - This will not be a permanent work-from-home role. While the company's mid management & junior staff are still working from home, the senior managers and leaders have resumed working from office - Relocation to Delhi-NCR will be required in max. a month or so of joining - This company does not offer equity options to staff
