Sales Director - Asia

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director for the Asia region. Primary responsibilities include channel partner development, business expansion, P&L accountability, market research, and penetration. Exposure to the textile printing industry is highly desired for efficient customer engagement and rapport building.

1) Channel Partner Development and Dealer Management:

- Identify, recruit, and manage strategic channel partners across the Asia region.

- Foster strong relationships to enhance product visibility and market reach.

- Collaborate with partners for joint sales and marketing initiatives.

- Establish realistic sales targets for each dealer in alignment with overall company goals.

- Communicate company policies, procedures, and guidelines to dealers.

- Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and standards.

2) Business Development and P&L Responsibility:

- Drive business growth by formulating and executing effective sales strategies.

- Assume ownership of the P&L for the Asia region, ensuring revenue targets are met/exceeded.

- Develop and implement plans to capitalize on market opportunities and mitigate risks.

3) Market Research and Penetration:

- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competition.

- Utilize insights to devise and implement targeted market penetration strategies.

- Establish the company as a market leader through innovative approaches.

4) Customer Orientation:

- Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges.

- Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.

- Gather customer feedback and insights to drive product and service improvements.

5) Forecasting and Planning:

- Utilize historical data, market trends, and customer feedback to develop accurate sales forecasts.

- Implement strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets through new business development and channel partner development.

- Continuously monitor and adjust sales plans based on performance and market changes.

6) Team Expansion and Leadership:

- As the business grows, collaborate with leadership to expand the sales team as per requirements.

- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the sales team for optimal performance.

Qualifications:

1) Master in Business Administration or Post Graduate Degree in Marketing, or a related field.

2) Progressive experience in business development in textile printing or related industries.

3) Exposure to individually driving sales strategies in Asian countries will be preferred.

4) Proven track record of successful channel partner management and business expansion.

5) Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L Management.

6) Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Travel: This position shall require extensive travel across the Asia region and other countries as required.
