 - Head the sales and strategy for the the organization pan-India for existing products and services.


- Build a practice for "new offerings" like IoT, Cyber Security, Accounting reforms etc.

Our client is a leading Indian IT software product and services firm which specializes in the e-governance segment. They are well respected and a reputed for the niche work they do in the government clients. Having run successfull for over two decades with business across multiple areas, they are now expanding their capabilities in areas like IoT, Smart Cities, Cyber Security etc. They are looking for a leader to fuel this growth with their experience of working with governement and PSU clients.

Job Description

Reporting to the MD and Executive Director you will be responsible for:

- Doing business in Government sector to drive ongoing business and very familiar with eco-system

- Building a practice for "new offerings" of company for pan India


- Strategizing the new business areas like Water Management (IoT), Power, Double Entry Accounting Reforms, Cyber Security etc.


- Selling offerings like e-municipality, smart city, cyber security, water billing, double entry accounting and SAP services.


- Work with clients which are corporatized like Utility companies, other PSUs etc.


- Solution selling approach with clients


- Achieve top and bottom line targets with the help of team and industry relationships

Profile

You will be a succesful candidate with:

a) Experience:

- Ideal candidate must be familiar with e-govt. sector and also has preferably, capability to add more business to firms offerings by virtue of his last 15-20 years of industry experience

- Relationship with some OEMS/Big 4 consulting & SIs and acquaintance with many IAS Officers by virtue of doing business for last one and a half decades


- Should have carried profit /bottom line targets in recent years.


- Experience in handling institutional Govt. clients such as State Govt. Department, Central Govt. department and PSUs etc.


- Experience in handling complete life cycle of large 2-3 envelopes RFPs


- Prior Hands on sales experience and current team handling experience with team target achievements


- Worked on mid to large projects and understands tendering process


b) Qualification:

- Graduate in any discipline with MBA in Marketing from reputed business school

c) Essential:

- Should have experience of 20 years in sales to key accounts in Information Technology industry from reputed organizations out of which most recent 10 years should been in software services and software ERPs/COTs

- Must have experience in CXO level (IAS in Govt) interactions
