Job Description :
- Develop a data base and recommend programs/ promotions to meet clients needs.
- Prepare proposals and contracts that are geared to maximize profit while satisfying client needs
- Daily client meetings/ interactions to create awareness & increase visibility of MICE hotels in the hotel portfolio in India.
- Sales calls, hotels tours and hosting of clients to solicit new business on regular basis
- Review individual and team goals on a monthly basis; recommends and takes appropriate actions to achieve objectives in key result areas.
- Ensure all collateral used are in accordance with brands standards and hence correct info.
- Communicates clients requests to all hotel departments in an effective and timely manner
- Prepares reports as necessary to improve management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities revolving around MICE vertical.
- Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service.
- Work closely with ICPB and other related associations
- Organize networking evenings with MICE fraternity
- Update/ prepare and maintain MICE Collateral. Update new hotels information & have hotel presentation available.
Requirements :
- Minimum eight years global sales experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience managing to brand standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to travel
