About the job :

- This is a India leadership role for leading Corporate Marketing, Strategy & Commercial Excellence, Communications, and Digital Commerce for India and South Asia.


- The role will be instrumental in developing and driving India's growth strategy, establishing an industry-leading marketing organization, and delivering on Digital Commerce revenue and profitability goals.


- This is a unique role that requires strategic thinking and a techno-commercial mindset, working closely across commercial, IT, and cross-functional teams, to improve customer experience and drive productivity.

Responsibilities :

- Corporate Marketing: This function is responsible for creating and leading sustainable market leadership positions for Company in India. You will serve as a critical business partner to the India leadership team to plan, ensuring a strategic and coordinated marketing approach across divisions.

- Digital Commerce: Digital Commerce encompasses Digital Marketing, eBusiness, Inside sales, and Data Science. You are expected to deliver on revenue and profitability targets from digital commerce. You are responsible for the overall digital experience we offer to our customers with responsibility across all our web properties including Thermofisher.com, chemicals website, dealer portal, and mobility solutions as well as building a roadmap for our third-party partnerships and aggregator platforms

- Corporate Communications: The objective of this function is to establish thought leadership and deliver a simple-to-understand message about the role of Company in accelerating innovation and improving productivity in scientific laboratories around the world across.

- People Leadership


Qualifications :

- Delivering Company's unique value proposition to the customers through end-to-end solutions and institutionalizing workflow selling

- India Marketing Council and cross-functional teams charged with planning, designing, and implementing multi-channel marketing initiatives aligned with strategic business objectives. Adhere and enforce global brand identity principles and guidelines in conjunction. Create and drive best practices

- Utilize practical process improvement to drive operational effectiveness, productivity, and streamlined processes, continuously improving performance and delivery to the business

- Drive strong sales and marketing alignment with initiatives and processes that support strong lead management, improved lead quality, enhanced data quality, and tools, and templates Corporate Strategy & Commercial Excellence: You will be accountable for and support the development and execution of strategies to accelerate growth and deepen customer intimacy. The role will support key growth segments to implement strategy deployment tools, KPI leadership, and necessary A3s for ensuring the successful execution of the 5-year strategic plan.

- Providing overall cross-divisional leadership in the areas of country analyses, industry/marketing analysis, competitor benchmark and customer research, financial analysis, alliances/partnership strategy development, etc.

- Work with India leadership team to lead and facilitate the India Strategic Planning process (STRAP). Work closely with all commercial and functional leaders to define India's strategy and support processes to ensure effective execution and implementation.

- Implementation of commercial excellence (CE) roadmap: The role of CE is to increase the level of commercial discourse and decision-making in the company.

- Extend eBusiness leadership by continuing to enhance our industry-leading web properties

- Collaborate with cross functional teams to build and scale digital marketing and eBusiness capabilities to amplify marketing and selling outcomes. Drive change management

- Scale our presence on Government eMarketplace, build a roadmap to achieve market leadership

- Embrace accelerated demand for digital and gain momentum by enabling enterprise core competencies that deliver frictionless digital experiences to enhance customer engagement, augment sales capacity, and increase speed to conversion

- Utilize data science to enhance decision-making and selling capabilities, creating a proprietary advantage for our commercial teams and key functional teams.

- Drive an effective lead management team for lead validation and improving sales efficiency

- Lead vertical market driven inside sales organization and deliver on annual revenue goals across the business

- Develop a strategic communications plan for India to create awareness among key audiences and combine earned, owned, and paid media to position company as one of the most admired companies.

- Support the communications team's planning and execution of change management activities and lead crisis communications preparation and response

- Attract, develop, and retain diverse talent across junior to senior levels across the organization. Develop succession across the team

- Establish vision and performance goals for the team in alignment with team and organizational priorities with a focus on driving results through 4i values and competency framework

- 15-20 years of commercial experience with exposure across corporate strategy, sales & marketing, eBusiness & Digital transformation. 5+ years of marketing leadership/consulting experience highly desirable

- Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to understand, analyze and assimilate complex issues thereby formulating clear strategies and initiatives

- Exposure to a techno-commercial role, prior to working in eBusiness operations

- Demonstrated ability to understand the infrastructure requirements of marketing, including marketing automation, web marketing, business intelligence, and marketing point tools

- Proven track record of effectively driving large-scale change initiatives

- Strong collaborative and influencing skills to navigate through the matrixed organization

- Significant experience in building and leading high-performing direct and matrixed teams
