Job Description - The job involves leading the sales nationally, and also managing the export, for one of the largest business units (Steel Pipe) of one of India's largest business organisations. It would also involve working with the senior most leadership to drive the overall strategy of the business unit.

Client Details:

The client is one of India's largest business organisations which has a global presence. They have been in India for more than 60+ years and have diversified their business into several related business units which have grown over the years.

Description:

- The candidate will be responsible for driving the sales nationally for one of the largest business units in the industrial and manufacturing space (pipes).

- S/he will also be responsible for export business for the organisation.


- The candidate will work closely with the senior-most leadership and devise strategy and future plan of action for the organisation.


- S/he will also be responsible for managing a team nationally.


- Business Development also forms a key component of the role


Profile:

- The successful candidate will have atleast 15+ years of experience of driving sales in the field of pipes at a national or regional level

- S/he should have an extensive experience of working with senior stakeholders, managing the entire P&L and driving strategy for an organisation


- Team management is critical for this role and therefore, the ideal candidate should have an experience of managing a team too.


- The ideal candidate should have an experience of undertaking business development activities for their previous organisation too


- Considering the candidate will also be looking after the export business, some experience in the export market is preferred too.
