Job Title : Business Development Manager (Senior)

Important criteria of the profile - Should have experience in service based industry. Kind of consulting. Not product sales or software sales. And should be a technical person.

We have offices in the UK, US, SA, NZ as well As Hyderabad and Chennai in India. We deliver engagements all over the world based on customer requirement.

The Role

We are currently expanding the company and looking for a Sales Director to run our Sales operation out in India based in Chennai. You will also be expected to travel to other cities and oversees to manage all sales activities. You will need to work closely with project and product delivery to determine the company wide marketing strategy and sales strategy.

You will have a proven track record IT Service Sales and delivery complemented with a strong technical background to engage at the CIO level. You will be a self starter brimming with enthusiasm and drive to grow the business in this demanding competitive digital age. You will need to be resourceful yet with a sophisticated edge to close sales

Key Responsibilities Include

- Work with Senior management to define Sales propositions

- Research and Contact prospective new clients for both our Products AND Services,

- Establish new relationships by researching, adding and developing new contacts,

- Qualify leads and arrange suitable meetings,

- Work with existing consultants sales to generate new business through Up- and Cross-selling,

- Work with Pre_Sales to Generate client proposal and pricing documents,

- Collate information on prospective clients, even where an appointment is not obtained,

- Maintain existing client relationships, in particular, those which are not currently active

- Actively manage the client database in conjunction with the Marketing manager,

- Log all calls and monitor success rates,

- Generating contacts at Trade Shows and Conferences,

- Assist with processing and closing Order paperwork

Personal Attributes and Skills:

- A proven track record of closing IT Services Business preferably in either Banking or Telecom domains.

- Strong networking and Leadership Abilities

- Market knowledge of recruitment in IT Industry

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including powerpoint)

- A sound knowledge of the SDLC and the ability to communicate complex IT solutions in a simple fashion. `

- A Team player that can mentor junior sales and Pre-sales staff.
