Director - Sales - IT Product Based Startup

We are hiring Sales-Director for IT product based start up company at Bangalore.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Sales Leader (India) will be responsible for setting and achieving the overall revenue, growth and market share goals for the region. As the leader for sales you will be responsible for the following:

- Develop & execute sales plan to achieve revenue and growth goals for the region

- Plan, hire, train and grow the right people talent within your team

- Establish the right sales processes & foundations for sustained revenue growth

- Develop strong cross-functional relationships with other teams.

- Contribute to the overall intellectual horsepower of the company.

- This position directly reports to the President of the company

Skills and Requirements:

- 8-15 years experience in a sales role in an IT product company - preferably startup.

- Successful track record exceeding revenue and share goals consistently.

- Good background in at least one - selling Big Data & Analytics solutions and/ or selling tech.

- solutions into Retail & CPG industry. Combination of both will be an ideal candidate.

- Solution selling experience in a products company.

- Exposure to selling in mainly in India. Selling experience in APAC is added advantage.

- Candidate should be willing to travel within India to begin with & as in APAC region subsequently for developing & closing deals.
