Job Role: Director of Sales

Profile Summary:
ISHIR is seeking to hire a qualified Sales Leader to be responsible for top line sales and revenue numbers and build and groom a rock star sales team, align the team with the goals and ensure productivity. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in playing a similar role in another organization and have a track record and experience to drive company's sales and revenue target. Must have in-depth knowledge and experience of a sales process, should be able to craft a sales plan, excel at lead generation process, relationship building, sales coaching and assist in closing deals. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate sales team to create and maintain a high-performance sales culture. An individual with a proven track record of success who can inspire the same in others.
Responsibilities:
- Own the top line sales revenue target for the company and create a level of predictability of the sales numbers
- Improve the sales conversion rate
- Own the sales process and ensures it is being followed consistently and improved
- Develop, own and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base leveraging or local presence in US
- Connect with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs and pain points
- Achieve sales targets through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance, data and projecting future performance
- Hire and build a rock star sales team; onboard them, set objectives, train, challenge and coach them
- Ensure KPIs/ KRAs are achieved and track and analyze team's performance against their targets
- Run and plan daily scrum meetings; monthly/ quarterly/ annual sales review meetings
- Identify knowledge/ skill gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them
- Involve in making sales compensation plan
Required Skill Sets:
- Played a role of a Sales leader and sales coach in the past and should have some formal training about Sales Philosophy
- Experience in Sales with IT services company in offshore model and should have understanding of offshore development and its advantages
- Tech-savvy, should be aware of various technologies (.Net, Open Source, Mobile, Cloud, IOT, AI and QA)
- Prior experience in owning sales team target and track record of achieving the same
- Solid experience in managing software development clients and should be aware about software development and outsourcing risks and challenges
- Prior experience and proven track record of handling large accounts, client growth and retention
- Proven track record of successfully shortening the sales cycle from planning to closure
- Ability to work as an individual contributor as well as manage and lead a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
