Purpose of the Role:-

As a Sales director, you- ll be tasked to develop, execute and own the performance of Exhibitions & Allied Events under the banner of the firm. Development & execution uses customer/client insights to develop new service/product solutions or build brand extension based on client's needs. Performance is defined as the ability to deliver positive business outcomes to B2B and B2C customers (exhibitors and visitors), whilst driving revenue and profit growth for the concerned portfolio.

The Sales director is the leader of both the event and the event's sales team. The Director has ultimate accountability for all aspects of the event's performance, and manages the P+L as agreed with their Country Leadership. The Sales director has responsibilities in four areas: leading the sales team, managing key stakeholder relationships, understanding the industry, and delivering the event

Key Deliverables:-

- Acts as a collaborative entrepreneur to see new possibilities, take in information and create insights to develop and maintain an understanding of client's needs and objectives through strong business relationships; effectively leverage support teams not under their direct management (i.e. acts as the - maestro- or - conductor- ).

- Lead & directs sales and marketing strategies and execution to properly define and deliver the customer value proposition and deliver a combination of higher revenue and profits. The Sales director is responsible for the delivery of financial targets related to their Exhibitions /portfolio of Events.

- Holding regular team meeting Pan India, educating sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.

- Builds communities and networks to open up new opportunities and innovation by forming relationships to enable their business area to develop

- Creates superior customer solutions by identifying customer needs and problems that need to be solved and leveraging solutions to transform business needs. Collaborates successfully with others internally to share customer insights and know-how.

- Inspires sustainably high levels of employee performance by creating the optimal state for the Exhibition Team; grows skills and capability by focusing efforts on building the capacity of their business are

- Maintains team focus by prioritizing, sequencing and focusing energy.
