This is a profit centre role and all regional functions like sales, marketing, finance, SCM HR etc. report in the said position. Position : Regional Manager Sales - East Reporting To : Vice President Sales (Head of Sales) Location : Kolkata, west Bengal PURPOSE : - Owns Region's sales performance including P&L, volume and market share, new and repeat TP business in the region, and demand planning support to region for distribution, DD,MT channels for all categories except Built-in, and manages regional budget and overall admin. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : - Managing the Sales operations of the region. - Ensuring targeted NR, IMS, Distribution & Visibility KPIs are achieved. - People Management - Leading a team of Branch Managers, ASMs, Trade Marketing Managers and Area Sales Executives. - Sales Planning - yearly & monthly targeting for all areas along with rolling forecasting at SKU-CFA level. - GTM - Ensuring organisations Go-To-Market objectives are met through proper identification, activation, and management of sub-DBs and distributors, coverage of outlets not under direct coverage. - Channel Management - Ensure growth across Retail & Modern Trade channels through proper planning, execution, tracking & review of all channel specific programs. Planning : - Owns development of monthly demand plan for the Region - Drives collection and reporting of required current and historical regional sales data to support category and channel analytics - Drive sales target-setting for on-ground sales and conducts periodic reviews - Leads and reviews regional sales force productivity to meet value, volume targets - Manages Regional TPI budget Sales Execution : - Executes sales volume and value targets for region and branches, leveraging sales analytics - Manages execution of BTL initiatives - Manages deployment of TPI and trade schemes in coordination with the national team Trade Partner Management : - Develops TP engagement plan and maintains optimum call cycles to build and strengthen TP relationships - Identifies, evaluates new TPs and manages conversion of difficult accounts as needed Operations : - Oversees all marketing and key account management activities for the region. - Oversees all sales logistics for the region for finished and defective goods - Owns general administration for the region.
