Job Description - The role is a position to lead a team involved in material innovation through extensive research, identification and development of new product lines and to enter new categories.

Our client is an MNC with an R&D footprint in India and presence in multiple global locations.

Description

- Lead the innovations team that engages in collaborative and iterative technological developments of products

- Handling internal stakeholders including (but not limited to) BU Heads, Product Developers and QA teams as well as external stakeholders like academic partners, supplier and regulatory contacts



- NPD: Lead the product development agenda for the organisation both short term and long term

- Responsible to deliver novelty, uniqueness and differentiation through proprietary technologies and product development

outcomes

- Create a collaborative and learning environment ensuring agility in delivery speed and consistency in quality

Profile

- At least 15 years professional business experience leading both technical and non-technical teams



- Must have at least 10 years experience directly managing professional managers & leaders within an organization

- MS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or applicable field.

- PhD is preferable but not mandatory

- Must have shown flare in innovations, understanding market conditions and also product launch experience
