Job Title : Director, PR & Communications

Reports to : Vice President, External Engagement

Role and Responsibilities :

The key focus of this role is to drive long term strategy for brand and reputation. Vital focus of this role includes to manage media relations positively. This person work closely with the Management to drive the University's vision.

The role comes with the following responsibilities :

- Manage media perception

- Create cut-through content including design, production and messaging through all platforms

- Maximise visibility and outreach through digital, Web Online and Social Media channels

- Tight control over Audience Mapping and Information flow to Influencer groups

- Quick and effective responses in situations of Crisis Management

- A high level of creativity

Eligibility :

- Master's Degree in Mass Communication/ Journalism from a top tier institution

- Experience of managing media relations

- Minimum 15-20 years of relevant industry experience

Skill Sets Required :

- High quality English language skills

- Working knowledge of other Indian languages is desirable

- Exceptional communication and public speaking skills

- Strong influencing skills to gain support and commitment, team working

- Creativity and integrity

- Ability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders

Venue of work : Ashoka University Campus, Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Rai (District - Sonepat).

Days of work : This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday, on site and on campus.
