- This role is responsible for managing Software releases, deployments, stakeholder management and product delivery and program execution from inception to successful Business-Case realization. - Takes a General Manager's view to the program assuming ownership across multiple functions and phases of the NPI process, including but not restricted to: - Drive Management Operation System (MOS)Lead executive reviews and establish strong MOS between CTO, GSDT and extended leadership teams. - Ensure that Buildings CTO is briefed and prepared for key meetings with both internal and external customers. Provide necessary data, reports and presentations for such meetings which capture key points and address key issues leveraging strong data visualization techniques - Identify work streams within the organization, identify silos and provide recommendations to break down silos to drive improved performance - Work within an integrated cross-functional team to execute plan to drive AOP/financial results across all business lines - Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity and communicate effectively to leadership team. - Business Case & Concept Development: Drives focus on voice of customer, offering-scope and business case, influencing decisions in the initial phases - Detailed Planning: Drives the translation of business case / concept into engineering deliverables and implementation plan. Performs estimation, balances technical risks / dependencies, and manages costs, resources, vendors, etc. during the detailed planning phase - Execution & Delivery: Work closely with engineering counterparts to drive the right engineering results, and achieve readiness for launch, with the right metrics and tools that provide high predictability and quality to stakeholders and senior execs alike - Launch & Go-live: Oversees Marketing Communications, Demand generation, Revenue generation & tracking during and after the Launch. Works with Product Management, Business & Finance to measure outcomes against goals - This role would need to wear multiple hats, and scale up / down, to address relevant needs depending upon the context: - At an Enterprise level, leading and managing several large concurrent high visibility projects consisting of multiple Agile teams and/or requiring integration with other activities outside the scope of the Agile teams - At a Product-portfolio level, acting as a single point driver to realize business goals through effective program execution in the portfolio. - At the Program Team level, playing a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, technology, process, and tools, and coaching members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the project team - At the Program Team level, playing a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, technology, process, and tools, and coaching members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the project team
